About the Doctors

Dr. Matthew Elison


Dr. Matt has been delivering the highest quality orthodontic care since 2006. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Utah State University in 1999 and his dental degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2003 before completing a specialized residency and earning a Master of Science degree in orthodontics. His research was published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.

Dr. Matt gives back to our community by offering continuing education to local hygienists and dental assistants. He is also a member of many top dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Idaho State Dental Association and the Upper Snake River Dental Society.

In his spare time, Dr. Matt volunteers for church duties and supports the Boy Scouts of America. When not in the office, Dr. Matthew enjoys skiing, outdoor activities, triathlons and spending time with his wife, Michelle, and their six children: Kourtnee, Khari, Tyler, Bradley, Gracie, and Tatum.


Dr. Ryan Wood

Dr. Ryan Wood ( Joined our team January 2018. ) Born and raised on a small farm in Bliss, Idaho. He served an LDS Mission in Cali, Colombia. He is married to the woman of his dreams, and is the father of four awesome boys and a darling baby girl who keep life fun and exciting.

Dr. Wood graduated from Brigham Young University, attended dental school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (graduating at the top of the class), and completed his orthodontic residency at the Ohio State University. His Master of Science research was published on the cover of the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. After completing his schooling, Dr. Wood bought his own practice orthodontic practice in Walla Walla, Washington, but jumped at the opportunity to return to Idaho to be near family.

Dr. Wood enjoys reading, building things, chasing kids, and eating brownies & ice cream.
